Summer Camps

Join us for this whimsical and magical journey through the Land of Oz.  Where the stories of three hit musicals converge and are intertwined.  We’ll start somewhere over the rainbow with the classic and groundbreaking Wizard of Oz.  Then ease on down the road to the paralleled and hip version known as The Wiz.  Finally we’ll defy gravity with braverism in the epic backstory of Wicked.  Participants will put on a soulful and swankified performance at the end of the week. Ages 10 and up.

The City’s supervillains have been obsessed with defeating the unbeatable superhero Wonder Man. That’s why they are at the Supervillains Anonymous group meeting, ready to give up their evil ways. When Danger Girl, a fiery and determined would be superhero looking for a mentor, barges in on their session, the villains use a series of silly flashbacks to recount their last humiliating, yet hilarious, defeats at the hands of Wonder Man. The meeting is interrupted by the surprise appearance of Wonder Man and his sidekick, Star Kid! Can Danger Girl inspire the supervillains to take up their evil ways once again?  Ages 10 and up.

Sand and island fun are the backdrop for this musical excursion. Our show will feature selections from Moana, Once On This Island, The Little Mermaid, Frozen, and Spongebob the Musical.  Participants will learn vocals, blocking, choreography, and acting techniques which will all be showcased in a final performance at the end of the week.  Pack your bags for a fun-filled getaway and good time in Broadway on the Beach! Ages 10 and up.
