In this class, students will refine their musical theatre skills by working through various scenes from musicals. Students will be given homework assignments throughout the session that pertain to discovery of oneself through the lens of musical theatre. Central focus of this class will be rehearsal, performance, and audition etiquette. By the end of the 10 week session, students will have gained new insight into the workings of auditioning and callbacks. Students will also leave the class with two newly refined song cuts to add to their audition repertoire. Materials needed: binder, sheet protectors (optional), and composition notebook. Ages 10-13.
